Nick Homburg: Owner & Founder

Nick Homburg is a photographer, professor, and documentary filmmaker whose work is rooted in honest storytelling and real-world experience. As the founder of FotoProMedia, Nick teaches visual storytelling through hands-on practice, helping students and creators develop their skills in photography, filmmaking, and documentary work.Where documentary practice meets purposeful craft.Nick’s approach to documentary photography grew from years spent in the field, observing stories unfold, earning trust, and learning from people in real environments. His background in journalism, filmmaking, and education has shaped a visual style that is intentional, respectful, and cinematic without feeling overproduced. Now based in Kansas, Nick collaborates with students, communities, and creative partners across a variety of environments, always aiming to create work that honors the story first. FotoProMedia reflects that philosophy through purposeful visuals, honest storytelling, and a commitment to clarity, integrity, and meaningful education.“I used to think photography was just about the technical aspects. But after years of hands-on work and formal study, I've learned that clarity and intention are what truly make an image powerful.”
